Love…..

Majority of the population uses the four letter word “love”. What is love?

Is it just a figment of our imagination? Is it just something we say because the rest of the world uses it?

Being in love is the destined, divine, committed, unconditional connection with someone you will spend the rest of your life with.

It’s becoming one union,

It’s knowing that when you go through problems, you don’t have to go through them alone.

You’ll always have someone to go through the problems with you, no matter how big or how small the problem is.

It’s turning the I’s, me’s, and my’s into us, we, and ours.

Love…..

It’s a companionship,

It’s learning to let our egos, pride, and stubbornness go to compromise,

It’s cherishing, sharing, caring, trusting, and believing,

It’s loyalty,

It’s spending time with you,

It’s the ability to sit down with you and talk about any and everything,

It’s getting upset with you then realizing I couldn’t imagine how my life without you would be.

Love…..

It’s working together as a team,

It’s not letting anyone come between that divine love,

It’s knowing that you are forgiven for your stupid mistakes,

It’s knowing that I can be fully honest and blunt with you and not be afraid of being judged,

It’s the joy of coming home to someone who understands me, or at least tries to understand me.

It’s the deep conversations about our past, present, and future with one another.

It’s the love that keeps us together; knowing that no matter how big that mountain is, the love that we have for one another will and can overpower that mountain.

Being in love can be an emotional roller coaster!

No matter how much we fuss and fight love always comes out on top.

This love is precious. This love is pure. This love is unimaginable. This love is amazingly beautiful. This love is an extraordinary gift from God. This love is one in a million. This love that we share is untouchable. This love is you and I.
