Always wanted to have a good camera to showcase my photography skills.

My Dream of a Digital Camera

A digital camera

Always makes me stun,

My hands are eager

To grab a decent one,

My mind thinks capturing

The world with great fun,

To own one in my name

My legs are ready to run,

I would like to shoot everything

With that peaceful gun,

But my income is too little and

Expenses are overdone,

For now I must be satisfied

With writing this elvish pun…

Ha! I love this piece. I followed you back to your profile because of the great dragonfly picture you use as your avatar. Then I checked out your cute kid pictures and your awesome nature photos. I thought to myself, “I could take great pictures like that if I had the wonderful camera he probably has.” Then I followed the link to this poem.

Now I hang my head in shame, but I am also inspired. You take great shots with that little camera. I’ll quit complaining about mine and try to get as good as you with what I have.
