My eyelids are heavy.

My head tilts back.

I give in to sleep

And allow the sandman to carry me

Away into my dream state

Where I’m transcended by visions of large

Bodies of water that force me to back away

Before they are able to consume me.

I let the angry waters

Take me over and pull me under.
