Some verses that came to mind on the rare occasion that I saw father cooking.

The Grand Chef had some fun and a try,

immersed his hand in hot oil and did he cry.

Vegetable of far and near,

if your life to you is dear,

don’t come anywhere near,

as chopping, cutting and crushing happen here.

Onions- o- onions, the woe of the tale,

Everything went well but his face went pale.

Chop Chop! Stir Stir! Cook Cook! What fun.

Only the ammount cooked would feed a ton.

King of the kitchen,

having trouble with the chicken.

A gourmet’s delight

isn’t always that right?

The grand hunter turned boar was everyone’s despair,

Including the boars in the jungle out there.

What a delicacy

What an aroma

A sweet dish is wanted

when dinner is over.

Everything sugary and nothing with spice

Let’s hope there was no trouble with mice.
