This is a poem about a little girl who’s parents are arguing all the time and they don’t really pay much atttention to her so everyday she goes to her favorite place which is an area with a cluster of cherry blossom trees.

My Favorite Place

Mommy and Daddy always fight they never say good things to me anymore like I adore you baby.

My Favorite Place

It’s somewhere I’m not afraid, somewhere I can be five I love it there I feel so alive.

My Favorite Place

No yelling and screaming over food and clothes I listen to the cherry blossom trees sing their sweet melodies.

My Favorite Place

My imaginary Suki Yoko tells me of birds she’s on the scene while I was daydreaming of my new trampoline.

My Favorite Place

My Parents just don’t understand the way I feel but I know that I have to go everday to my favorite place.
