This is a poem I wrote for the girl I love.
We haven’t known each other for awhile
But I’ll love you sweet smile
And of course I know you’re older than me
I being fourteen and you are fifteen
I know I’m a freshmen and I don’t care
I’ll always like your short brown hair
I think you’re pretty, and smart too
That’s why I can say I like you
We don’t see each other everyday
But when we do I have a lot to say
Your gorgeous brown eyes are paralyzing
When I gaze into them I can’t move or blink
When you talk to me, you’re kind and sweet
You make me feel fortunate we were able to meet
Your auburn hair has a magnificent shine
When I peer into it I feel blind
Your beauty is beyond any other girl I’ve meet
It’s so radiant, I could never forget
Whenever you take a quick glance at me
My heart beings to race, and I’m filled with glee
And now with all that being said
There’s no reason to say all again
If there’s anything else left to say
It’s probably how beautiful you look today
