You are my bracing moisture

Nourishes the garden of my heart

My lovely joy, desired flower of my soul

Wherever I am, I’ll yearn for you.

You

When I saw you – I ever,

Gift of speech had lost and stunned

Love submissive, involuntary man

The slave which dared to love you!

In fetters of the passion you had shackled me,

Restrained my freedom-loving strive

My pride, my nature wild became a peaceful

Has fallen in front of your charm

You are my bracing moisture

Nourishes the garden of my heart

My lovely joy, desired flower of my soul

Wherever I am, I’ll yearn for you

I am attracted to you like to the Sun

If not be you, I’d have drunk the poison

Without shudder to the dregs

I look at the diamond stars,

Or at the grace swans in the serene sky

With you was fascinated the human eye

I know, there no more beautiful in nature

The one that took my rest,

She is unearthly nymph, amazing creature

Who won the higher favour

We are two plants together twisted

She is a gentle rose

But I’m lonely steppe feather grass,

The hearts will sing in unison forever

Even if all will crash down into abyss, and into dust!
