Move forward; look back;

You have travelled far; never wondering where you are;

Your past, your present; your stature, your residence;

Your steps in direction; your movement in the action;

Look back; reflect forward;

Your life has not become awkward;

Being wise in your choice; being confidence in your heart in being moist;

No substitute; certainly the absolute.

My steps with flair; my determination showing no fear;

Look at where I have been; another world without end;

Calling all toes; no thinking the woes;

Feet don’t fail me now; the Lord has showed me how;

Steps that lay; not what people say;

I accomplished a lot; been added to the spot;

My steps in being proud; on the contrary of never shouting loud;

Moving forward in this race; making a statement in my own trace;

Help me please; my soul is at ease;

My past in not being last; my first in not being in reverse;

My encouraging words as a verse;

My footsteps unto me; my life put forth by thee;

My footsteps now; never forgetting who showed me how.
