What if your reflection in the mirror starts talking to you…
MY FRIEND IN THE MIRROR
Every
Time I look
Into the mirror
I see a Norse Berserk in me
A part of my disembodied spirit I never met
We share the same body of flesh
His penetrating stare
Sees my soul
Ether
Deeper
It gazes into my eyes
His large, black-glazed pupils
Glow in darkness with malevolence
He smiles eerily at me, lips stretched around his skull
His voice is the clatter of heavy metal
He hypnotizes me with words
I obey his commands
Unwilling
Love
He mesmerizing whispers
Into my ear, He is the only One
Who feels that emotion towards me
He says He is my father, mother, brothers and sisters
His cold hand emerges from the mirror
His delicately strokes my cheek
I need him he says, He is my
Family
Decayed
Is the vile scent of His inhumane dead skin
Like the nauseating odor of a freshly puss-ripen corpse
That’s maturated by grubby maggots; it clings to my skin potently
He speaks to me in my sleep and when I’m awake, he feeds me His thoughts
He says I have an evil legion of foes; He made an unholy secret oath
To scourge their lineage, now I wake up every morning
Covered in fresh warm blood and reeking of
Death
