An early morning greeted by the sun.

MY FRIEND, THE SUN
The sun shines out there, rapping at the glass,
Tries to make me notice, it does at last,
Brilliant light shines, boldly into the room,
Dispelling sleep, and sending away gloom,
Another day’s here and the night has gone,
I’m out of bed and stifle my last yawn,
Awake, says the bright sun, and so I shall,
I arise, get dressed, and say all is well!
