Poem about a lady who loves her garden and gardening….
Let not my heart be harden, nor from my lips a curse,
for here I stand in my garden, caring for my plants like a nurse…
Come hum you busy bees, birds sing your songs of mirth,
in my garden I want to be, theres no better place on earth…
With the sun shining down, upon the morning dew,
its such a beautiful view, seeing what grows from the ground…
May the heavenly showers, and gentle breezes blows,
upon my beautiful flowers, as the slowly grow…
See my tulips and poses, and the golden dafidols,
among the rows of roses, gives me the greatest thrill…
To the sky the lillies yield, with the violets of blue,
what colors they reveal, only nature has the clues…
Grant me one wish and pardon, when they lay me to rest,
just a simple request, bed me down in my garden…….end
