My Grand Daughter

My first grand daughter was only two when I wrote this…

I love to play with my grand daughter,
She fills my life with joy.
We laugh and play together,
We have lots of fun with her toys.
~
We say little nursery rhymes,
Like humpty fell from the wall.
Or this little piggy went to market.
This piggy got nothing at all.
~
We watch TV together,
Like Teletubbies or Blues clue.
We count and say our letters,
We play games like peek-a-boo.
~
Before we know it’s time for bed,
So she can rest for the night.
So we say her prayers together,
Then I kiss her and turn out her light.
~
Then I whisper “I Love You”
As she drifts off to sleep.
She’s the best gift god has given me,
I think she’s really neat.

They are the greatest gifts, aren’t they? I have 5 granddaughters 2–5-7-7-12 and 2 grandsons 3 and 14. Each have their own special personalities and I love them all.

Yes Andea I totally agree, I now have 8 Grandchildren and the tie braker on the way lol 4 granddaughters ages 8, 8, 3, 18 months, 4 grandsons 18yrs, 6, 6, 4 months and the tie breaker is due in Oct(Halloween baby) we believe she is the tie breaker for the girls lol

Trying to keep up with all my grandchildren has been a sweet challenge. A great-granddaughter is due in October.
