A poem for the man in my dreams.
Without a care, I stroke the pen to paper, to flame, to making the same, line after line, but suddenly anew, the flame catches page, and burns bright blue. Your name is encircled in fire and light, and then you appear much to my great delight, a vixen, a temptress, a beauty of the night. For what has drawn you to my fires delight? You’re real? Not a spook or a fright? My heart melts with your embrace, my greatest plight, my fears erased. In the setting sun we walk, night is gone, and now we talk. When I look into your eyes, I cannot lie, have no disguise. Instead truth from your honest face erases my past and current place. Drifting to a land far away, with you there by my side, with your warm embrace. Its never a dull day, as long as I have you, my baby. So with this I just wanted to say in a few words, and in my own way, that your epic, gorgeous, awesome, and I love you more and more everyday. ♥
