A poem of heartbreak and death.

Let me grieve,
War alone with my broken feelings.
Let me cry,
And let my blistering tongue sing,
If death comes,let me die.
Succumb to its hollow sting.
Though i am not ready to leave,
I am also not ready to live,
Alone in this harsh winter.
Teased with Tasteless laughter and empty smiles,
A cog in the jumbled wheels of time.

Bile flow freely through my vein.
Comfort eludes me,my cries in vain.
I will alone bear my bride,
Be the last soul by her side.
Upon my head, let the titled mourners crown rest.
Let me mourn, slowly curse this death.
Till i can no longer wail, cry or sing.
Till i purge my being of this rheumatic shings,
Let me be,
Alone,i will bear my grief.
I will share this rite with no other,
As my heart writes to the memory of my departed lover.
