This is a poem about expressing one’s self by the use of some of the figures of speech. In this, the feelings were expressed in terms that are describable and likened to something or it was figuratively defined.

Sweet as a cake

As my mother baked.

Sweet as a lollipop

In my heart he puffs.

Late at night

The stars shine bright.

I see him in my sight

Before I sleep tight.

I can’t explain my feeling

Like a bomb exploding.

Still I’m wondering

Why his love I’m yearning.

I love him with all my heart

And no one could ever take us apart.

My love for him is abysmal

And forever I will be loyal.

He’s my one and only honey pie

And that is not a lie.

In my heart he’s the one,

And soon a member of our clan.
