A poem about risk and love.

And there was I.

Dared to risk.

I didn’t know what it was,

But it was something I could not comprehend.

Where was I?

I do not know.

The moment was ethereal.

The elves were dancing,

The pain was excruciating;

But it was sweet, as honey.

I could not move,

I could not think.

Words? I cannot speak clearly.

I feel, yes indeed.

I am mortal,

Born with a heart,

With a flesh,

Sensitive to touch.

The taste was intense.

A sip goes through my nerves,

My brain is void,

My heart palpitates.

I hyperventilate.

Time has passed;

I am quenched, from the long thirst.
