A poem I wrote for my first love.
You waited for me for so long and yet I ignored you
And now I’m paying for my ignorance,
I see you with him,
And every time I see him,
Hug you,
Kiss you,
Hold you,
I just can’t do it,
Because I just got to let you know.
How can you let it go?
When you,
Never found out how I truly felt about you,
I love you so,
You the one, who first notice me,
You the one, who first held me,
You the one, who first kissed me,
But now you’re gone,
And I’m here all alone,
Because I couldn’t truly tell you how I felt,
Afraid that you will drift away if I ever told you,
But now,
At the end you’re still leaving,
No matter what I did,
You’re still drifting away from me,
Like how memories are fading from this ragged old man.
