My Junk Drawer

Doesn’t everyone have one of these?

I have a junk drawer,
it’s filled with pencils,
a stapler and some paper.
Inside is a note pad,
some large paper clips,
and a huge phone book.
It’s cluttered with many items,
even some notes to myself.
Don’t clean my junk drawer,
I know where everything is.

Exactly! My wife sometimes decides to clean my desk for me, and while I appreciate the kindness and her thinking that she is doing me a favor. It takes me weeks to get things unsorted enough that I can find anything again.
