A love to die for.

If if were a word filled with less suspicion

Would you lower your guard and yield to my submission?

Would you then move from material things

And allow humility to clothe you?

A house to rule and bedrooms to plunder

Doing you right, then doing you better

Opening you up to so much treasure

Blessing you with kisses

Stand to take your rightful place

Official and certain like a historic figure

Test and trials will press against us

We will strike back with diplomatic immunity

Surprising all those who doubted

Our triumphant love

We have come this far

Can you see our castle in the distance?

Not of brick or mortar

But set in dreams we built to believe

Let me be the prince you seek

Because you are My Lady Guinevere

Seduced by your spell-bound touch

Kings nor Kingdoms could keep me away

Your love is too much and I have yet to encounter a greater reward

For a love like yours is well worth the risk

A poem that brings to my mind a picture of jousting, lords, knights and ladies. And of course romance.
