Written for my aunt and uncle after their daughter died at the age of six from leukemia.
She came in all of life’s sweetness
Revealing to us love’s completeness
An angel fair sent from above
Given to us by the Father of love
Beautiful, she was to me
Bloooming so delicately
Like a flower in the spring
Awaiting her angelic wings
Her face, her laugh, and her smile
Given to us for a little while
Just as pretty as she can be
A lovely delight to us, was she
Touching lives of those she met
This little girl who was Heaven sent
Her life was shore, this is true
Gone, she was, before we knew
Not for us to understand
Reasons for the Father’s plans
On earth her task was now done
Her home in Heaven, finally won
Now walking those streets of gold
By God’s side, His hand she holds
With Angelic wings, she now flies
Soaring throughout Heaven’s skies
