The lyric poem that you are about to read is dedicated to all of my Facebook and TRIOND friends, most specially to MARIA WEDDE PUDDA and MANUELA MORDHORST (on their birthday) with whom I have formed a beautiful friendship through the Facebook. Anyone is welcome to partake of its music.

(”Maria, the most beautiful sound I ever heard”)
Maria….Your name is the glorious birth of a heavenly song,
The only lyric in my music book that I’ve sung for so long;
On your birth, the angels half-entranced with the symphony
Joined the startled stars in their sparkling glee.
Maria…your name, an unfinished prayer on lovers’ lips;
Your mouth, twin blossoms from which honey drips;
Your love, an enclosed zone promising wild desire,
A sealed fountain, setting night in a noonday fire.
Maria…How many dreams have you ravished in the dead of night,
When desires awake while the terrified stars burn bright?
How many sighs has your scented breast induced
To languish with its perfume the love it seduced?
Maria… Enchantress of my long starry nights,
Forbidden garden of love and celestial lights,
Open your gates to Dreamland , unseal the fountain of desire
That in my delirium I may drink your nectar before I expire.
Maria… Let me sink in your perfumed bosom
To quiet the riot of a heart that needs a home;
Yours is the wilding of my prayerful desire,
You alone can tame my mischievous lyre:
My lyre that knows only one aria,
My love, my life, my MARIA ###
