Daisy was my Mona Lisa who lived like an image of perfection amidst cool winds and sunny days in her sea of hope.

Daisy was my image

Of perfection

With a tender touch

And a gentle smile

- – -

She was my Mona Lisa

That men everywhere

Adored

But was elusive

To them

- – -

She was tall

Slender, shapely

And athletic

- – -

As she walked

The elements

Paid homage

Showering her

With praise

- – -

Palm trees danced

While birds

Hovered overhead

Serenading her

- – -

What an inspiration

She was

In meditation!

- – -

Men worshiped

The ground

She walked on

- – -

From my understanding

She dieted

On dates, fresh fruits

And vegetables

Sauteed in sauces

- – -

She regularly exercised

To the rhythms

Of soothing music

Was a vegetarian

Preferring aromatic teas

To coffee

- – -

With a mantra

Which she repeated daily

She beseeched

Her gods

To let good things

Befall her

- -

She lived a rich

But simple life

While enjoying

Cool winds

On sunny days

- – -

She remained

Rejuvenated

By taking dips

In her sea

Of hope
