There are mothers in this world
Who are gentle
Then there are mothers
Who are strict
But the best mother
In this world
Is my mother.

My mother understands me
She knows how to talk to me
And when I’m down
She picks me up
When I’m sick
She’s always there
To help me become well.

My mother does everything she can for me
She punishes me
When I need to be
But most of all
She loves me
And that’s what my mother
Can do best.
