The death of their soul mate, can cause great pain to those the brought forth into this world.

My Mother, My Love

She cared for me through precious days

She tolerated me during teenage years

She became my friend as motherhood arrived

We love each other, as long as things were fine

And then

The wheel of life changed

Dad was now gone

Alone she chose to handle it all

Confused and scared she never shared

Until now…………
On a trail, all alone, but you and I. My mother, My love.

I must force the issue

Take her out of her comfort zone

And mine too

What will it take to make her understand?

Will I ever succeed?

Mommy I am all alone, once my hero

Now you see me as the enemy

Trust is gone, too much pain

The mother I love

Is she gone forever?!

Oh, that’s sad. I lost my mother several years ago but I still find myself thinking about the laughs we had together. That was after I was grown, though.

My mother changed after the death of my father. She became a bitter women and finally drove me away from her. She passed away in 2007 on my first granddaughter’s birthday. There are times I feel she even did that to hurt me. I remember times when we were close, we talked and laughed. I wish she hadn’t changed. I will pray for you and your mother that you can regain your relationship.
