Spoken words, gestures, are they inherited?

An invisible thread

winds its way

through generations.

A tiny gene carrying

spoken words

and gestures.

Recognition

and disbelief.

I’m turning into

my mother.

I told myself that I would never be like my mother, but I am glad that I inherited her best qualities :) I love you mom! Nice poem

Nice reminder of our mothers that we are really a part of them.

I recognise that, my brother is so like my dad, he even has the same mannerisms, but he doesn’t remember my dad, he was very young when he died. He must have inherited those characteristics.

My husband took a picture of me at Christmas and I could see my mother in my face. I remember once looking at my mother and thinking I could see my grandmother in her. We are all connected.

(in case my this comment appear twice will be due to error…….)

Some of my better features are the same as my mum, but also the quick temper. If my temper is the same as my dad, will be better as he is very calm. LOL…
