This is a poem I wrote a long time ago. I was so into the Vampire Chronicles of Anne Rice. This poem was for Loius de Pointe du Luc who was Lestat’s fledgling. Hope you all like it.

Deep in a dark abyss of my room
A one winged angel Louis standing so still
Upon my window perks the goddess of the moon
Smiling at me as I slumber there

Silence swimming between us
As if a distant dream trying to be real
And he approached me, floating in thin air
As the curtains swayed softly by the wind

Of how he kissed my head gently
And so carefully he arranged my covers
Of how long he had stayed there watching me sleep
Of how night flies so fast like a steed

Before long he turned away and through the open window
Little birds singing, embrasing the morning sky
Silence and darkness slowly fades away
As they followed the shadow of my one winged angel
