My mother, Amelita, for Mother’s Day…

You bring warmth to my heart
When no one comforts me
You give more love
When there’s nothing left but yours
You heal me though
Even when I don’t ask
You paint my world with colors
When I only see black and white
You fill me with hope
When despair comes near
You enrich me with your wisdom
When you feel I need it most
You may now be weak and old
But still you give me life
Bravery to conquer all odds
And happiness all throughout
So if I were to choose the best
There is only one for me
You’re the greatest mother on earth
My pride, power, and wealth.

nice poem. it’s rare nowadays to find someone who really values her mother. an excellent work and deserves to spread all over the world.
