A poem about my day.

I took my son Steven to Lowe’s,

helped him do the kid’s project today.

He built a wooden school bus,

with it he really loves to play.

After we left from Lowe’s store,

out to breakfast we went to eat.

Steven had bacon and hash browns,

I had an egg and livermush treat.

Steven is now at a pizza party,

my husband and daughter are gone.

They are camping this weekend,

I’m enjoying some time alone.

A few people have asked me what Livermush is. Livermush (which is also referred to as Liver Pudding) is a Southern United States breakfast food made of pig liver, head parts, and cornmeal. It’s fried in a skillet and served for breakfast and is very popular here in NC where I live.
