A love poem and with whimsical thoughts
There was a time when you swallowed my head whole
And all I could hear was Shakespeare demanding that I listen
To the sweet prose that gushed from your mouth with those full lips
Speaking of the truths that we find dwelling somewhere in the mind
Near the heart and deeply seated within the soul
I could feel you and your breath on my cheek, warm and full
Of the passion that you evoked in me
It was like a mouse nibbling on the cheese until it was all eaten up
You consumed my very being
When Strauss played the violin, you danced with me
Twirling and spinning me around until I looked like Saturn, perfect
You caressed my shoulders with your objective hands
Then your objectivity overwhelmed my senses
A new reality was deposited into the realms of the dreamlike fantasy
A new life was born, feelings and thoughts of divine pleasure
Dancing through my mind and tickling my clandestine psyche
Now I have a secret garden
