I have to share this as it is soo sweet. I can not believe he made this up on his own.

We are very lucky to have Red cardinals and Blue Jays on our deck each day.  We really missed them over the winter months.  Their colours are outstanding and we love to see them and offer them nuts and seeds on the rail.  This is a morning job for my son to go out and put them food out so he can watch them visit before he leaves for school.

This is his poem.

The birds are out on the deck

bobbing along going peck peck peck.

Eating all the seeds and nuts.

They really like our deck and we like them too.

I hope they stay and visit forever.

We like you little birds.  tweet tweet.

but please don’t keep pooing on mums washing.

I thought it was really cute. lol.  Especially the bit about the washing.  I know it does not all rhyme but he did so well at a young age.  I did tell him though that we will have to stop putting food out if they continue to unload over the clean laundry.   Not the nicest reward for feeding them. lol

Hope it gave you all a giggle! lol
