At my beginning

On the morning of a Thanksgiving holiday

The first boy of four then – now five sisters

 My story clock began

A father as a carpenter

A mother as a housewife turned elementary school teacher

I credit their influence in my story

There focuses lead me toward an engineering degree

There influence directed my sibling profession

A phone exec, nurse, doctor, teacher and police officer

Each one a professional and career in their own right

Respected in their fields with degree and successful life

A loving and supportive family goes a long way

With all the trouble we face in life it often save the day

My story is ongoing I still have much to accomplish

With the love of family and friends it makes for a wonderful journey
