Hate and violence are not the answer.

A world full of violence,
With war and hate,
There should be peace,
Destruction should be silenced.

People die everyday,
Bad people continue to live,
Like dust in the desert wind
Some of us just want to be swept away.

Such an ugly place,
Love ceases to exist,
Happiness is just a sweet vision,
We feel misplaced.

When the time comes
We accept graciously,
Thanking the gods
Our lives are finally done.

In a world of hate,
Where do we belong?
We believe the sweet release of death
Comes all too late.

Our time here is wasted,
The rhythm of time,
The kind hand of mortality
So close we can almost taste it.

The tick tock
Remains my sweet lullaby,
Spinning me around
Like the hands on a clock.
