Yeah, it’s one of those.

Girl, I want to hold a boom-box outside your window while it pours down rain.

I’ll be your Mr. Big, and go all the way to Paris.
To, unknowingly, rescue you in your time of need.

After watching horrible “double date” movies that aren’t even our picks, I want to hold your hand as I walk you home. And I want you to throw snow balls at me, no matter how little I’ve dressed for the weather. I want to buy you two pieces of pizza from the late night street vender after we were too late for Wendy’s.

I want to dance the night away to the tones of Daft Punk,
and bring down the house with the power ballads of Journey,
and, maybe if the mood is right, profess my love in a slow dance to the tune of Foreigner.
Cause, I do want to know what love is.

We can spend days in your room, doing nothing,
But never being bored. We can roll around, and wrestle one of each other
And I can end up on top, and meaningfully look in your eyes.
And whisper “You’re everything I’ve been dreaming of”.

We can play house, and dress up.
I’ll dance around like a fool, while you put on your make-up.
I put on your jeans and t-shirts;
And you try to convince me they look good on me.

We’ll take funny pictures with my gat. We’ll take emo pictures.
We’ll take the ushy-gooshy-i-love-you-forever pictures.

We’ll pretend to be husband and wife and discuss our children’s names.
We can go and see “Open Houses” and say “this bedroom would be ours,
And these would be for the kids, and here is where we would put my grandmas dinning room table.”
You can rub the knots out of my muscles after a hard day of work,
And ask me what I would like for dinner, and after, we’ll relax to prime time TV while I rub your feet.

I want to argue with you, not because I like it, but because it shows something is real, and that we aren’t lost in some wonderland. I want to bluff and you call me out on it. I want to leave, and then come back because I can’t leave you on a sour note.

I want you to see things my way. You want me to see things your way. How bout you let me in, because it’s raining out here, and my arms are getting tired.
