A conflict from within. Part of the older poetry I found filed a way.
She puts me down at every turn,
Not one good thing she has to say.
Loves cutting me to pieces,
I think it’s the highlight of her day
She’s always the one who tells me not to try,
I’ll fail anyway.
The one who convince me I can’t be loved,
I’m a fool to think otherwise.
Why I let her do this I’ll never know?
Why I take her words to heart?
I’m a fool for such things,
But it’s hard to fight someone who knows me so well,
She’s my worse enemy…
The one I call myself.
