Do not forget who is in charge.
Nature Lessons

I can hear the wind blow,
I understand the tune,
Bringing with it an omen,
A major storm coming soon.
You will need a shelter,
A safe place you can hide,
Gather all your loved ones,
Get ready for the whirling ride.
Does it fill you with fear?
Do you question your bravery?
It is just Mother Nature’s lesson,
Reminding us of our slavery.
I see bold flames from afar,
Emblazoning the forest lair,
Intense heat, can you feel it?
Black smoke smothers the air.
You must run to another city,
There is nothing you can do,
Except pray for life itself,
It seems like evil through and through.
Does it fill you with fear?
Do you question your bravery?
It is just Mother Nature’s lesson,
Reminding us of our slavery.
