Behind the hedges.

Nature hangs green curtains all around its edges,

From great tall trees and garden fence, to tiny little hedges,

Its hides her secrets well to protect them from prying eyes,

She guards her world from danger and rough and rude suprise.

Her secret, hidden behind the curtains, are busy flutterings,

From each thicket comes a quiver of birds taking to the wing,

This wonderful circus goes on year after year after year,

And out of the hidden nests new life will appear.
