Near death, the soul trembles inside,

Captured by the oncoming fright,

They try to flee and persuade emotions to hide,

I will leave room on the dark road

For other shadows to join the rest,

And look back when the clouds unfold,

The pinning pains of mortal quest.

Fighting illness bravely without much success,

The fright life gave draws us near to death,

Weary and thirsty indefinite distress,

Exhale in a moment’s terror the final breathes.

Near death, the soul trembles inside,

Captured by the oncoming fright,

They try to flee and persuade emotions to hide,

But end up into a realm darker than night.

Half expecting to hear the dismal cries,

Some imagine life to be sorry,

Others reached the edgy pinnacle despises,

By those who long for the inevitably.

Near death, every moment of life is cherish,

You smile your last, and kiss the veil of precious skin,

In the final excuse before the inevitable rush,

Draws stricken grief over the decisive curtain.

The sting of death will inherit the largest prize,

And time comes nearer to leave what was good,

Taking nothing with the sullen demise,

To interpret the transformation not clearly understood.

Death awaits us all around the corner,

Gathering what we hate in quiet intent,

Taking away events and every moments pleasure,

To bring again what decay cannot threaten.
