All ambition spent
My feelings dry
T’my bed I went
Thinking, “Why?”
Seeking the light
Groping the dark
Hungry for You…
I would now ‘eat’
My ambition spent
My emotions fly
Now I’m wrecked
I cannot lie
Seeking the light
Finding my mark
Thirsting for You…
I do now ‘drink’
