Weeks and months went by
But each day was sigh.
He knew she wasn’t interested
Yet in her heart he was indented.

End of year came
But both were too shy
They both felt the same
And couldn’t say goodbye.

She signed his year book deeply,
But somehow forgot to mention,
She loved him,

He signed her yearbook with much protest.
Because he had never let it slip, that
He loved her.

Their parting was a misery
Filled with severe regret.
