Poem about losing your way but then get your life back.

Her name was lexy; she had a lonely miserable life.
With no dreams of a future and no family to hug and kiss at goodnight.

She found herself insecure, and desperate for attention.
She was on drugs and prostituting, that I forgot to mention.

As she was walking down the street, thinking how bad her life was slipping.
She stopped and found herself in front of what looked like an empty building.

She tried to continue walking but her feet would not let her.
She had a feeling that if she went inside, she’d come out feeling better.

The whole building was filled with bright smiles and open arms.
For it was a church, where people worship, sing and read psalms.

At that very moment she knew and could see
She was never really alone she always had a family

Her soul was filled with love.
And was always gods to keep.

So when you’re feeling down and out
Sad and alone

Remember Lexy
The girl who was brought home.
