The many beginnings that take place in our lives.

Just as a river begins with a drop of rain
And a new day begins with the dawn
A new life develops from a loving heart
And a new little baby is born.

Just as an apple begins as a seed in the ground,
And a newspaper evolves from a tree,
A relationship starts with a twinkling eye
And the result of that twinkle is me.

Just as an acorn grows into a giant oak
And a new lamb appears in the spring,
A story begins with a single word,
And new flight from the spread of a wing.

As a staircase begins with a single step,
And a brick soon grows into a wall
God made his young son in the image of man,
To bring goodness and love to us all.

Oh whoops I didn’t realize I already read this. Have I read all your work already? I’m sure I missed a few.

This is again very well said. There is a beginning for everything. I love the sentence: “And the result of that twinkle is me”.
    Bravo, Christine.
