Life we know turned upside down

We dove in and nearly drowned

A second chance this life did give

A new beginning we now can live

God has opened up our eyes

Made us end our inner lies

Showed we can always fight on

Knowing now we’re not alone 

This new start we do under him

Life now better than it’s been

Begin to see that life is worth living

Our new goal is all about giving

Help each other through the days

Our past pain now thrown away

Guidance through God we share

No longer a need to be scared

Now able to move to higher ground

No longer our hands tightly bound

Our future now looks bright

Thank God for his burning light

With each others help we can not fall

Unconditionally Jesus loved us all

God has granted us a new beginning

One that will bring us hope and loving
