New Haiku:Am I Dreaming

Moses on Mount Sinai
hears divine whisper-
gaining virtue & knowledge

Horrid glooms
sordid sting
vanish in haiku moment

On mountains wild
chaste nymph
reads Issa’s haiku

Oft by silver stream
haiku goddess and I walk-
fantasies

Straight world versus
counter-culture:
lamb and tiger

I’m Thy servant
and then the distance clears:
bower of bliss

Drop to your knees
in prayer:
conflict to come

locate the Holy Child
inside innermost self:
mystic flight

A family bereavement
the mother is weeping
all alone

Unruly passions
 diseases pale:
the birds have flown

Depth of pain
good help I seek:
immaculate Mary

Felicity with her seven sons
beheaded by Antoninus:

I am obliged to Sand Castle, Kannan, Ethics0006 for their kind words about my haiku. True friends like you inspire me. I am happy that we read each other’s posts. This would create a team spirit and a noble feeling of togatherness. Regards
