Just married…

It was an argument,

perhaps a fight,

she awoke after a restless night,

tendrils of hair

stuck to her cheek,

tears of fear

would actually peek,

her curls matted

on one side of her head,

then she realized he had never come to bed,

reaching for her pillow,

she prayed it had been,

only fear,

caused by a terrible nightmare.

nightmares is really scary, and it feels scarier when you wake up from a nightmare without no one to turn to…because you’re alone.
