Hit the nail on the head. One of the reasons I don’t comment much on others is because I have nothing to add, or say to it – that and I wouldn’t want someone reading something of mine just because I read something of theirs. lol

I never comment if I have nothing to say, which has been quite often with triond over the past year. I’m glad you pointed this out because it drives me nuts also.

I receive a number of comments which are obviously cut and paste. This indicates they are in too much of a rush to even read the content. I at least skim it and I like your poem.

I agree with you 100%. \”Nice share friend\”….haha See i took it a step further by including friend on the end which should make you feel better about me so you will read and comment on ten or so of my poems…haha On a serious note, i\’d druther someone just hit the like button than to comment nice share, or very interesting. Well done.

I must confess that I’ve made some similarly inane comments. I didn’t know what to say, but I wanted the person to know that I cared enough to take the time to read their writing.
When I get a “nice share”, I wonder if the topic was that boring to the person that they couldn’t even muster up an opinion on the article…
We’re a strange breed. We spend a lot of time trying to be “nice”, instead of saying what’s really on our mind. The result is that we often say things that have little or no value.

Bruce, I believe Triond needs to add an “I Love It” button next to the like button… very amusing and sharp assessment of those Nice Share folks, who, unfortunately seem to thrive in abundance. Thanks.

Hi, Bruce you are right of course, I personally don’t leave a big reply, to most of the peps that do reply to my poetry, those ones who you correctly say, leave a nice share constantly then… just want to bombard you with cut, and paste on everything from dan ruff to baldness, and scurvy or whatever… I am trying to fix my list to old friends, and new poets, or old as long as it is something worth reading, so cheers for now, and hope you get the replies you seek cheers
