Poetry about the many terrors a young child dreams of in the dead of night.

Deep into the depths of the night;
A child sleeps within blankets of safety.
As the dream of the night slowly plays;
Another world of imagination creeps in.

As the wind begins to howl outside;
The many demonic forms violently emerges.
As a sleeping child starts to toss and turn in terror;
The many haunting monsters slowly stalk.

As the moonlight dims across a darkened room;
A sleeping child violently cries out in fright.
Through blankets of crimson flesh;
The many terrors of the night quickly invade.

As the tears of a child flows along;
The presence of another soul quietly overwhelms.
As the light of another day breaks through;
The many terrors of the night ominously retreat.
