When your stuck in your dreams.

Devouring and consuming to the point of complete exhaustion.

As if you’ve ran a triathlon.

You gasp for a hard earned breath, but nothing.

One thing after another, after another, after another.

Your spent and dripping sweat from despair.

There’s nothing to be done, except for the unimaginable.

With the end so near, yet so far, anything possible can happen.

If only a star in the black night could hear you sincere wish.

But, if only, is just that, a dream.

A dream that has turned into a horrible, screaming

Nightmare.

I always feel like I’m stuck in my nightmares. Before, I used to scream in my nightmare to get me to wake up. It worked. But since recently, when I scream, I seem to have waken up, but actually, I’m still dreaming. I mean, I’m in bed and everything and it seems so real. It’s so confusing. Great poem.
