Cool poem about the nighttime in the city.

Nighttime in the city

Electricity in the air

Neon lights sparkle

With just a hint of despair

Women dressed up for the evening

A theater production’s at hand

And over on Twenty third street

There’s a cool, Jamaican band

An elegant restaurant just opened

Serving seafood and exotic meals

A young woman stands by the corner

Showing off her sex appeal

Nighttime in the city

There’s magic all around

Take time to enjoy its venues

And really boogy down

I’m too ole to boogy, I did way too much of that in the 70’s and 80’s, but it was a good poem……..Well done.
