A mind so open
A will so Big
Experimenting with all; indiscriminate of neither
Good or bad
Curiosity helping; to fill up this
Insatiable mind,
This mind so big!
Alas comes the cane!
Lots of discomfort and pain
Stopping the adventure in its heels,
In comes confusion and fear
Certainty and confidence flee!
No questions agreed
No curiosity or experimentation
Fear helping; to clog this
Insatiable mind,
This mind so big!
The curiosity would have
A fine artist made,
The indiscriminate experiments
A chemist or exceptional musician molded.
But the world will never know
These prospects; all martyred
In their morning
By a scolding a slap a cane a hurtful word
Fear helping; to clog this
Insatiable mind,
This mind so big!
The world will never know
Because
This mind so big!
Was
