A poem about my career stuck in neutral.

Image via Wikipedia

Talk is cheap
At the bottom of the heap
Jump and scream
Never heard or seen
My voice is loud
Yet never feeling proud
Over looked all the time
I feel like a piece of grime
Can never be sublime
In my life’s timeline
Promotions passed on to the other
I would like to blame my mother
Can only point the finger in my direction
Thought I was passed over because of my complexion
Education short
Should have played a sport
